New school build, adorned with fun murals!
November 28th, 2016
The Willows Primary School in Newbury have recently had 8 new classrooms built. Aptly named “The Parliament” as the school logo bears and owl, the new building will be host to the little Owls of the school! To make the corridors more exciting, the staff decided to create murals based around the themes of Roald Dahl and traditional tales.
Using
acrylic paints in vibrant colours the staff and volunteers from the community,
including parents, have worked hard over four painting sessions to create some
impressive displays. To finish the
murals off and protect them from little fingers, Brewers in Newbury were happy
to donate some tins of clear varnish to the project.
The murals will add excitement to the new building
